Following the successes of the previous Atypical Interaction Conferences in the UK, Denmark and Finland, AIC2022 will be held at Newcastle University, in the north-east of England. AIC2022 will continue the tradition of bringing together researchers who use Conversation Analysis to examine interactions that evidence a divergence from more typical patterns, often brought about by the communication challenges of one or more of the participants. The theme of this conference is Activity, Inclusivity, Creativity.
