In 2024 The NATR Communicative Writing Resource was published. This resource is designed for use by Speech and Language Therapists with people with aphasia. It focuses on written production of everyday words to enhance functional communication as part of a total communication approach. There is also a supplementary section targeting written production of function words for use in sentences.

The resource includes a manual, over 4000 individual therapy worksheets, instruction and scoresheets alongside an innovative app to enable users to quickly produce high quality bespoke therapy packs. This resource is evidence based and has been extensively tested at Newcastle University within our teaching clinic and by local clinicians.
