Practical Cognition Course 2022

Description

This popular course, now in its 15th year is aimed at junior doctors, trainees and consultants in neurology, psychiatry, elderly medicine, general medicine, neuropsychology and rehabilitation medicine.

This course will help you develop your practical expertise in cognitive assessment and related this to clinically relevant neuroscience.

The 2022 course will be run online. Joining instructions will be sent to all registered delegates shortly before the course.
To get the most out of the course it is recommended that you have a camera, microphone and sound device.

Timings:
Day 1, Thursday 6 October, 9am to 5.15pm.
Day 2, Friday 7 October 9am to 3.15pm.

The 2022 course will feature modules on:
General Principles (C.Butler, Imperial),
Frontal Lobe Disorders (M.Hornberger, UEA)
Traumatic Brain Injury (L.Li Imperial)
Disorder of Auditory Cognition (T.Griffiths, Newcastle)
Speech and Language Disorders (J.Warren, UCL).

The course is organised by Professor Tim Griffiths, Newcastle and Dr Chris Butler, Imperial.
