You can apply to take resit exams overseas if your home address is outside of the UK. Please note there is a fee of £50 per exam payable to Newcastle University plus any charge made by the exam host – contact your overseas host directly to confirm these before applying
Some exams cannot be sat overseas - please ensure you have checked the format of the exam with the module leader/school office and see https://www.ncl.ac.uk/exams/overseas/ for full policy information and guidance for completing the application form.
For any in-person digital exams, please be aware that these will need to be taken on paper (i.e. you will handwrite your answers) if sitting at an overseas venue.

Please note that as part of this service, it will be necessary to share some of your personal data with the overseas exam host. We will share all of the details that you provide in the 'Questionnaire' section of this application form (including your email address and phone no) as well as any details of individual exam requirements.

Students who receive alternative exam arrangements other than extra time in Newcastle should note that the university cannot guarantee that this can be matched at your off campus host. This will be considered on a case by case basis.
Students who have been subject to an Assessment Irregularity ruling are not permitted to apply.
The fee will be refunded for any rejected applications.
