Newcastle University are excited to announce their week long “Marine Biology and the natural environment” Summer School for Key Stage 2 pupils. It offers 9-11 years olds a chance to investigate and explore the natural world in an informal and friendly setting, and gives them a “taster” of science and university life. As well as field trips, aquarium activities and microscope investigations, the children can enjoy games, art projects and fun activities.
Time: 10.00 - 15.00 each day
Dates: Monday to Friday, 24th to 28th July 2017
Where: Dove Marine Laboratory, Cullercoats.
Who: Yr. 4 to Yr. 6. You must 9-11 years old during the summer school.
• Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Please ensure your child is adequately clothed for outdoor trips. Warm layers and waterproof coats are needed even in summer months. If your child does not have wellington boots, a change of footwear is advised.
Your child will need a packed lunch each day.
