In a panel discussion, four social entrepreneurs will offer insights into their entrepreneurial journey and reflect on the complexities to creating and sustaining social enterprise.

The panel will be composed of:

1. Krissie Nicolson - Krissie Nicolson is the organiser of EETG is a community of small independent businesses.

2. Maria Morgan- Maria became a Director of Kineara in 2012 to develop and provide services that will empower families and communities to improve their lives.

3. Viviane Ma - Viviane is the UK and Overseas Marketing Manager, for Europe’s innovative façade solution companies in the area of fireproof roofs and facade systems at Trimo. As well as a founder and creative director for my social enterprise called Wakeup Campaign.

4. Jane Hatton - In 2011 Jane founded Evenbreak, an award-winning social enterprise helping employers such as EY, Network Rail, John Lewis, BBC and others to become more attractive to talented disabled candidates.

Finally, participants will have the opportunity to further connect and engage in round-table discussions regarding the transformative potential of social entrepreneurship.

This event is run as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
