Successfully designing and delivering increasingly ambitious life sciences projects in academic and industrial settings requires understanding and quantifying highly complex, interacting biological systems.

Design of Experiments (DoE) is a statistical method that provides a robust framework for the efficient exploration and analysis of large and complex spaces. DoE minimises experimental effort whilst maximising knowledge gained, increases system understanding and determines functional boundaries. It efficiently separates real effects from experimental noise, can improve lab-to-lab reproducibility, and uncovers multifactorial interactions.

The aim of this workshop is to empower researchers to implement these techniques within their own studies. This workshop will use virtual environments that simulate experimental systems of relevance to participants, inviting attendees to manipulate the system in order to collect data for their own analysis.
