Early Bird Weekend Rate
This rate is only available until FRIDAY 31st MARCH (after this the rate will be £30pp)
The main event on Saturday will be held in the Percy Building, Newcastle University main campus.
On Sunday the conference will be rounded off with a trip to Northumberland National Park and the deserted medieval villages of Middletown Old Town and Hartside.
The 2017 spring conference will begin on Friday evening with a tour of the historic city centre, which will take in many of the city’s medieval sites, followed by an optional evening meal. Saturday’s programme consists of academic papers addressing the conference theme and lunch, this will be followed by an optional conference dinner. On Sunday the conference will be rounded off with a trip to Northumberland National Park and the deserted medieval villages of Middletown Old Town and Hartside. The fieldtrip will be led by the park authority’s archaeologist Chris Jones.
Please be advised that the cost of accommodation is paid for separately and not included in the conference fee.
